Yeah, it could be much worse. Kentucky's political situation is like the perfect 10 babe that has permanently crossed eyes or horse teeth... and that's Andy Beshear for you.

Why oh why couldn't the blasted teachers have broken from their teachers union handlers...

I taught history in South Texas- straight up Democratland. Oddly enough, most of the teachers leaned conservative. The only liberal ones tended to be language arts/ESL. All of the STEM teachers were conservative. Most of the teachers were born and raised in the region, so they held the kids to higher standards than the teachers who were from up "North" (especially teachers that were part of Teach for America- very liberal).

As an aside, many Mexicans (South Texas is over 90% Mexican) are socially conservative at the least and many have a strong work ethic and want to be like most average Americans. They're not in to batshit liberal policies- however, liberals have taken advantage of their apathy. A lot of caravan's going into poor communities and taking people to the polls. A lot of money and or favors taking place- & coincidentally, the poor happen to vote in disproportionate numbers. Unfortunately, conservatives have pretty much surrendered the region.

It's important to understand where this comes from. Look at the creation of the Fed, in 1913, and the CFR, in 1921.What's under discussion is their intended plan, until we cannot resist the imposition of OWG. (One World Government) They started talking openly about this over 50 years ago. They prefer to do this without a shot being fired by bringing us to our knees financially in exchange for some gibs. Look how close we are!

If we don't physically remove our governors from Office now and see them stand trial as mass murderers, it will only become a more difficult and costly battle at each juncture in the future. There's no advantage to waiting, it's go time NOW!

This is the first I heard of this, so I looked it up. I've lived in Kentucky since 2007 and we have always had to show ID to vote...

We have too but it wasn't a state law to show PHOTO ID. You could show other forms of identification up to this point.

Most of us good people are willing to have it ready and wouldn't dare try voting without it. Its sacred to us. Then you hear stories; neighbors, coworkers saying, "Oh yea, they just took my name and added me."

I think it's Louisville and Lexington, or at least certain precincts in those cities, that raise the most concern. In my home county, you show photo ID, too. It's very conservative, though.
