Veto-proof Republican majority in the house and senate, plus a Republican AG and just about every other statewide office. They've been pretty good at stripping Beshear of his power, but it's time for them to step up and take control of opening the state like they tried to do in Pennsylvania. Beshear's stretching this out because it's the only way he has any power. This is why he's not allowed to have nice things.
That's why he's allied himself with midwestern governors, too. All but two of them are Democrats and one is a RINO. Kentucky's not in the freaking midwest, Little Andy.
A coalition with Minnesota and Wisconsin really make no sense other than to ally himself with other states that want to continue the shutdown. Most of the other states border KY (though I'm not sure if it's been changed again.) If you want to stretch logic, I-75 runs through Michigan and KY, so he could make the interstate commerce argument. (I don't personally buy it.)
I heard Ohio is opening May 1st and Indiana plans to move next week. So, I'm waiting to hear the announcement that KY is ending the coalition with them.
We have solid R control here in WI of everything but Governor, which was stolen by ballot harvesting. They brought in boxes of absentee ballots at the last minute and wouldn't you know it, they contained a suspiciously heave D majority and just enough to squeak by a win.
We did win by polls open for our primary, but absentee ballots were still WAY too many. Moral of the story is our Legislature and Supreme Court is unable to reign in our mass murdering Governor. We the People need to physically remove our Governors, all on the same day. See them stand trial for mass murder. Nothing else will accomplish anything, nothing less makes sense, and if we don't do it NOW every future juncture will incur heavier losses.
Democratic governor. You might have to liberate yourself.
