I still think he started as a protest candidate. Said everything nobody could say, and suddenly they all became actual issues. I think he kinda said "why not?" When I voted for him I never thought he'd be the person I know he is now! Such character development has never been seen even in a great novel ...

Using common sense. I'd read these headlines and they sounded so absurd, so I'd read the article and it'd be the complete opposite of what trump said. Then I'd see the rallies in full and he made a lot of sense. Then he becomes president and he's keeping his promises. You see him defending america when its in vogue to hate on it. Even when I was more liberal, i never felt hatred for America and its values and history that so many leftist feel. The constant trump haiting circle jerk annoyed me. I also started listening to thomas Sowell, watching old debates of william buckley and dinesh. Listening to conservative and libertarian podcasts and learning to think about problems in ways i haven't thought about before. I read a lot, everything, if I see a story on cnn, i read the same story reported by 2 or 3 different outlets and the litte bits on each site can give you a good picture of the truth. They mainly lie by omission, burying the lead, introducing random quotes from opposition when writing objective fact articles and cherry picking stories. They'd write stories claiming trump is pants on fire but then they'd start the article "while technically correct...", I got tired of democrats calling everything racist stuff thatall that made me a trump supporter

Very early on I hated trump, then I was neutral, now I'm a massive supporter of him.
I never hated Trump, but I didn't think he had a shot at winning. I've been supporting him ever since.
