They can chose who they poll, they cannot chose who and how they vote.

But these polls give cover for voter fraud. “See, Biden won, just as the (heavily adjusted) polls showed he would!”

They tried to tip the scales in 2016 but it wasn't enough to overcome Trump's overwhelming turnout. We have to do the same this year.

Fake poll. They only sampled two genders.

I wish we could give golden bricks, this comment deserves ones.

BS like this is designed to do a couple things. 1) make you think you’re all alone in your support for trump, or at least part of a dwindling few. 2) It’s meant to make you feel left out, as if you’re not wanted at the cool kids’ lunch table. Problem with #1 is it ain’t true, and the problem with #2 is we don’t give a fuck about what they’re saying at the “cool” kids’ table

Fake polls. These tricks are old and tired. Nobody is fooled.

Doesn’t really matter at the end of the day, we all know what’s gonna happen on Nov 3rd. With each passing day my desire to vote IN PERSON grows tenfold. I would drag my tongue across the city of Wuhan to cast my vote and nothing will stop me.

The little details are interesting. They had to reduce the number of conservative Republicans of course, but they also had to reduce the number of college graduates, and people with some college. Also increased the number of highschool only or less. Interesting because in 2016 Trump did better with highschool only demographics than college graduates.

thanks for this. I'm struggling to understand how this does not invalidate the poll completely.

Can you tell me what exactly you didn't like about their methods they used to weigh the poll?

100% of the demographics that favor Trump are negatively "weighted" between 6-8%.

100% of the demographics that disfavor Trump are positively "weighted" between 6-8%.

You can go to their website, but the current poll page is as of now mysteriously "under maintenance".

Edit: Look at some of the totals, like male + female approve and college grad approve + disapprove + refused. Both off by 1. This are absolute numbers, not percentages, so the numbers should add perfectly.

I can tell you if you explain what exactly "weighted" means? Does it mean they chose to under report some segments and over report others, and how is that different from just lying?

Becaus the same kind of statistical assumptions underpin these "polls" as provide the foundation of the coronavirus and global warming "models."
