His common core has ruined education for decades. Since common core was pushed, Florida's testing in all categories has plummeted. However, the private schools' (like Catholic ones that didn't implement it at all) test scores have risen. One of the reasons I chose my children' school is because it never implemented common core. Bill Gates, how many children can't do math or read because of you?
Sounds like that's his, or "their", plan. Keep the unwashed masses that can't afford private school uneducated, illiterate, ignorant and they'll be easier to herd. Also why they fight charter schools.
