Abuse of the 14th Amendment by Leftist activist judges has brought many travesties of justice that Amendment was never intended to address (Roe vs Wade, for example) but the worst abuse that endangers Our Nation's future the most: misinterpretation of the 14th to give birthright citizenship to the children of illegal aliens. The 14th Amendment makes clear that granting citizenship to the children of former slaves should not be extended to the children of foreign diplomats residing in the US. There is no logical argument that illegal behavior (trespassing into the US without permission) should be rewarded (free stuff for illegal aliens, citizenship for their anchor babies) but here we are, and there we go.
