damn im from CT. and we been doing this all month. my buddy owns a small restaurant/deli. no dining in right now (usually you can and its busy). just curb side pick up and a delivery person. even with that, hes lost a good deal of business. about 30-40% sales down. hes a lucky one

Restos have been doing this, too, in TX. This opening up is for durable goods retail stores like boots as mentioned in the article.

im sure some are because people are home and picking up food is a quick trip to get out...but id say the majority are hurting to a varying degree
