IIRC the daily new cases curve was supposed to increase exponentially, thus doubling the total every two days or so. Instead we see a slow arithmetical addition of the same number of new cases per day, and that even with the expansion of testing, which should be adding more and more.
Especially since you know the vast majority are down with the equivalent of the fucking flu. Not needing 24 hour medical care.
