Yeah but real shit though. Boomers(and their parents) are the ones most at risk of passing from the virus. And if you look at history (Spanish flu in the 1920s, flu outbreak in the 1980s) it seems like every 60 or so years a nasty flu comes around and culls a portion of the population. And with our already substantial increase to our lifespans it's only gonna become more frequent and worse. Harsh reality but its the truth. This time around boomers in power and media are trying to convince a young and largely unaffected portion of the population that THEY need to stay home to protect the most vulnerable at the cost of the economy and the very way of life we treasure and pride ourselves on. Tbh if you're 65+ you've been around awhile and probably done some wonderful things with your life. But you need to think about the effect and impact of the world you'll be leaving behind for your kids and grandchildren with trying to mix/max your lifespan. Maybe i'm wrong. Maybe i'm not seeing the whole picture but i'd gladly listen to any counter points made against this position. Change my mind.+
