I've been saying this for a while. This is particularly devastating on small, independent business.
Small/medium business owners are some of the least likely people to support socialism. In some ways, they are harder to control than multi-national corps. You can't infiltrate boards, since they're privately owned. You can't threaten them with international trade sanctions and sabotage, since they're mostly national. You can't lure them into joining a cabal "for the good of humanity", since they really don't have all that much power individually.
In fact, small/medium business is one of the last bastions of private property left in this country. After that is home ownership, which Agenda 21 directly attacks.
Take into accounf Pelosi's explicit disrespect for small business, her refusal to fund PPP, and her statement that she sees no evidence there's any need for small business relief, and this starts looking a lot less like an accidental outcome of a pandemic.
I'll say it. It's not an accident at all. It's part of what Newsom meant when he said that this pandemic presents a good opportunity to promote a progressive restructuring of the economy.
The left is happy to see the country struggle especially if they can position themselves and their ideas of how they want to see the country to be governed. Putting policies in place that inhibit free and fair business and elections. We must resist not coexist!!
