Ruby Ridge was probably worse. After the ATF and FBI shot Vicki Weaver in the head (FBI, actually, Lon Hourichi was a FBI sniper), they mocked Randy Weaver by asking her what she had for breakfast over the megaphone.

All because someone who didn't like him said he was "muh nazi" and the leftists in the ATF and FBI wanted to flex their muscles and law/accounting degrees.

Nobody ever got punished for it, and Lon Hourichi was celebrated in law enforcement magazines as a hero.

There was I think a $10M wrongful death lawsuit the family (daughter) won but that's not much of a consolation when your parents and siblings are killed

Right, but murder shouldn't only be punishable in civil court. We all know what the FBI and ATF want to do to us now at least, due to their hot-headedness.

They always start with killing your dog too

There is a documentary on Ruby ridge on prime that was pretty insightful. Great to watch while you are doing a detail clean or spring installation on your 45

They're always itching to use their guns so they can brag about being badasses. Dead dogs don't make the news.

That's the kind of people cops are, shooting dogs to feel powerful, with the state behind them.
