Same for Oregon for the most part, though the Californians and New Yorkers have spread into Bend like a cancer.

I remember when Bend was nice. Sad. I remember when the border of Oregon and CA said, Welcome to Oregon Enjoy Your Visit and no one wanted the Californians. They were right. We moved there from Michigan and were welcomed. It was similar to when I moved to Vermont from Oregon and the long time residents were so happy I was not an urban liberal
