I don't agree with this, it's assault, but Bill Gates must be made aware that his questionable meddling in people's lives will not be well received, I mean unless people are just sick of windows updates fucking up their computers

I'm not upset, I just don't agree with it anymore than when Antifa assaults people and if someone hit POTUS with a pie I'd want to kill them

I'm with you. But DAMN, it sure is satisfying.

Legit ancient form of protest is rotting food.

Pie is a velvet glove version.

Only happens to despicable people.

We get andy ngo beatings. You coming to defense of trump SUPPORTERS too? Commander in chief is one of us once Rand and Don Jr take the helm.

Pie in the face is better than stealing 10 flags and smashing my glass doors at midnight.

I think you have overreacted. Let the honklers use pie.

There's a world of difference between smacking someone with a coconut cream pie and smacking someone with a bike lock. You can laugh one off, you can't laugh the other off

But you can walk off when a sympathetic judge doesn’t feel you’ve done anything wrong.

Agree. I asked a Republican I know what they think the top tax rate and she said 40%. With Republicans like that who needs Democrats. Another Republican just two days ago used the tired "tax revenue neutral" line on me.

People, stop compromising and stop being pussies. Don't call yourself conservative if you're high taxes. Or if you are pro abortion. Or pro stay at home orders. Or pro gun control. Or prize Trump's 'decorum' over his results. If you find yourself thinking "I agree with Trump's policies and like most of the things he's actually done, but I wish he would tweet less and be nicer" then you need to really fucking reprioritize and get your shit together.

You forgot "muh based legal immigrants" (who vote 90% left and steal American jobs, run up house prices and cost of living for Americans), and the "conservative" movement entirely focusing on supporting third worlder replacement of Americans and American values in general.

But because Trump and Turning Point USA said we should bring them in record numbers, it must be a good idea.

Same, I do NOT support this at all.

We can't bristle at the sight of it happening to those we support but applaud it happening to those we disagree with.

Because this is half a step away from mixing in concrete, etc.

3
SimplePede 3 points ago +4 / -1

That's the difference. We don't take that half step.

1
InTheArmsOfThePepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

I still don't agree with it.

What does that make us then, bullies? Attacking people we don't agree with? Even if its relatively harmless, the intent is still to demean and humiliate another person through unprovoked physical contact. Assault and battery is NOT okay. Having this clearly defined is crucial to preserving our right to self defense.

C'mon, we're better than that.

SimplePede 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's not assault. It's a prank. You don't get hurt, you're not a victim because someone puts a pile of whipped cream in your face.

If it's assault legally speaking then it sounds like some liberal pussy couldn't handle some harmless pie

Any historian can tell you it is almost instinctual to throw rotting food as a deescalation from duel or attack.

Why chopsticks were used. So you dont have a weapon of assault at the table.

When you understand it as de-escalalation then you realize revolution is near.

Ignore pies and vegetables as omens of weapons at your own risk. The message is civil redress not assault or protest. Redress or expect worse. Humans are smart. Plead for pies over french Jacobin rebirth and takeover.

This is a 20 year old clip right? Is your point that we’ve been on the brink of revolution for twenty years because some rando threw a pie in Bill Gates’s face?

can see the path but can't see the footsteps leading you up to it.

I get it.

Your eyes will open eventually.

This happened in Brussels in 1998.

2
VetforTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Though you assessme t has merit, these people are evil. Evil must go, pies and food is something we are way beyond.

Independenceforever -1 points ago +1 / -2

try to see things in language of symbolism

nothing is literal. words dno't have any inherent meaning - they are just scratches and noises.

pie isn't "pie". it is a symbol of pre-escalation.

BaDRaZ24 3 points ago +4 / -1

Not really...

Here is a news article explaining the incident and aftermath: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nydailynews.com/news/world/day-bill-gates-pie-thrown-face-1998-article-1.2518737%3FoutputType%3Damp

TLDR;

I’ll sum it up though. Brussels in 1998, the guy that did it was supposedly a known comedian personality that pulls of public stunts and then tries to sell the footage afterward. Two people were arrested, and the police looked for a third. Bill Gates did not press any charges (could’ve) and remarked “the pie wasn’t even that good”

2
VetforTrump 2 points ago +3 / -1

Pie wasnt that good? Must have clashed with the taste of baby. Gates has ruined millions of lives. Smashing him should be done with a hammer. For t hose of you who want justice, remember, other men have to deliver it when you won't. At some point these people will have violence done to them Under color of law. You gonna be able to handle it? Am waiting for the mental masterbation of explanation justifying gov violence vs private delivery. Ready, set, go.

Never use violence unless forced. Our words can be stronger in the long term goals.

4
Thep1mp 4 points ago +4 / -0

I disagree. I think that attitude is a direct result of anti violence propaganda perpetuated by our own government for the last 60-70 years. It’s designed to emasculate men and cement their positions of power. They fear an armed populace ready to harm them if need be. Violence is always an option, and sometimes is the best option.

I always wondered why “tar and feathering” isn’t a thing anymore.

anon1011101 1 point ago +1 / -0

100% this.
People like MCCABE, STRZOK, PAGE, COMEY, BRENNAN, RICE, LYNCH, POWER, OBAMA, and STEELE would be not walking around free men/women if there was true justice in this country. They would have been imprisoned for life or hanged long ago if we had a fair justice system. Therefore, it's on the American public to deliver justice.

My company computer needs so many restarts it blows my mind. It might as well be a government computer. Such garbage and slow.
