That's funny, because everywhere I turn, I'm reading about police chiefs saying that the mayor's edicts supercede anything as quaint as the Constitution. 🤔

“It’s not a law, it’sa shelter in place order!”

It’s like in California when the legislators got around not imposing new taxes by calling it “fees” instead.

Or SOTUS (cuck Roberts ) ruling that Obamacare was legal because the mandatory coverage was a tax. It's what they say what they it to be..

You didn't look close enough. In really tiny text it says "Except if there is like a really scary thingy like a meanie monster virus, then the constitution is void!"

Just remember in the not so distant past, the Nazis eliminated civil liberties in Germany prior to WWII and opened the first concentration camps to imprison “enemies of the state,” Nazis worked to consolidate their power through suppression of dissent. In 1933, they issued a decree that required and encouraged Germans to turn in anyone who purposely makes or commits an act through negligence which may seriously harm the welfare of the state is to be punished with imprisonment of up to three months, or by a fine.
A secret police force was also created in 1933, “Gestapo”. The Gestapo was authorized to “protect public safety and order”. They relied on the people / populace to turn in perceived dissidents. In fact the Gestapo encouraged members of the party to “turn in” anyone who spoke against or acted against the state. DO NOT LET YOUR LIBERTIES BE TRAMPLED ON!!!!

Ay, and by court precedent and interpretation of the 14 amendment, these extend to state governments as well.

Seattle is my hometown. Most of my family immigrated there from Norway about 100 years ago. It was a good place. Now it is shit, I left 15 years ago, my brother left last year. Fucking communist parasites, H1B Indians and Chinese property investors fucked it up. I doubt it can be fixed.

Protest. The Gov. may be able to close businesses, but they cannot abridge the right of the people to peaceably assemble and to petition the government.

Protest in mass!

Anyone who is arrested for being out should turn around and file a civil suit challenging wrongful imprisonment and violation of civil liberties.
