You and I both understand that there are multiple things that allow a grocery store to open, right? Food has to be produced. Food has to be shipped, and shipping involves fuel and maintenance. Food needs to be packaged, and the packaging needs to be produced. Bunch of other stuff in the grocery store that isn't food as well. Even if every single business that does each of those items were to remain open (pretty sure that's not the case), those businesses are supported by other businesses, which are supported by other businesses.

You and I can see that there are multiple levels to a supply chain. Additionally, people buying food need to be producing other goods to create value. If you increase the supply of currency while decreasing the nation's production of goods, the currency loses value even more than if we weren't in this shutdown.

That's NOT how a leftist brain works. They can only see one, maybe two steps in. They see two things: their money, and the stores where they get what they need. A job, to them, is just someone giving them money. The government printing it for them long term is, to them, pretty much the same thing. The store will always be open so long as nobody closes it, and they will always be able to shop if they always receive money from somewhere.

CONCLUSION: From my experience reading their shit these last few days, leftists are like those kids who ask their parents why they don't just "get more money from the bank," or who believe that the grocery store makes the groceries. But don't forget, you're dumb and you should be locked up for saying everything that makes that grocery store run should start back up, of course. You'll interfere with their stay-at-home life.
