I would suggest making the first Tuesday of November a holiday to allow for voting, but that would probably just lower the voting numbers considering how fucking lazy most people are.
You know, this may not be a popular opinion; but would that be a bad thing? I would much rather have a person who is educated on the candidates voting, than a larger group of people voting. Most of who only know that "Republicans are the party of the rich", because that is what they have been told by the barely entertainment industry (and by that, I mean public education), or because "we are a democrap family".

Anything up to and including a mandatory civics test before being allowed to vote is fine by me.
