The schools, the faculty, the textbook companies. It's all about favors.

We need to have a discussion about removing tax exempt status for places like Harvard. They have enough money to continue their operations without ever charging a dime of tuition to their students. But they keep charging tuition, and they give an "education" that increasingly serves only their political goals, and no the public good. This shows they are not a charity, but a business, seeking to maximize cash flows from their customers, or a political organization.

That's most of the economy really.

BigFreedomBoner 19 points ago +19 / -0

It's all just a scheme to divert money to Democrat constituencies. GEOTUS has a great quote years ago. Our money is stolen to make the people who hate us stronger.

And yet Pedes VOLUNTARILY SEND THEIR LITTLE PEDES TO THESE INTELLECTUAL SHITHOLES.

We got to be smarter than this. But public education and what not, so let's see what China wants us to watch today instead.

Let's talk about solutions to the Libtard Educational Complex. For kids:

-Home schooling. If you can, just don't send your children to public schools. Teach them yourself at home.

-Private schools. If you can afford it, send your children to private schools that teach traditional values and value freedom.

-De-indoctrination. If you have to send children to public schools, have regular de-indoctrination sessions. Teach them to recognize and question communist propaganda. Teach them that God created male and female, only two genders.

For secondary education:

-College credit without college. Have your kids take AP courses and other options to get college credit during high school. Many schools will allow you to get credit for certain classes if you can pass a test for that class.

-Community college. Community college is much cheaper and allows young people to get college credit without giving much money to the Libtard Education Complex.

-Trade Schools. Urge young people to go into trade schools or apprenticeships. These are mostly hands-on schools which are cheaper, and involve very little indoctrination.

What are some other ways to ensure kids can get an education without an indoctrination?

We have several charter high schools in the area that offer dual coursework in which the student also graduates high school with an associate's degree. That's half of college before he even leaves home!

6

You've got to subtract at least a million though from payouts, since this money has to change hands multiple times.

Just like dealing drugs, every time it changes hands, someone takes a cut.

Harvard is America's first college and was started due to the Bible.

Of course the enemy took what was meant for good and corrupted it to it's core.

Institutions by man cannot last, but the truth behind the book of which it started will stand.

I'm glad this nation is waking up, but there's still a huge fight for the mind, heart, and soul of America.

Imagine a world where a League of People can Brag Openly About their Crimes and somehow not be prosecuted

While cops and governors harass citizens over illegal orders.

You aren't in the twight zone. Big mike was called "first lady" for 8 years.

dudeduderson 47 points ago +47 / -0

Dude fuck this.

Media wants to get bailed out

And now the indoctrination centers that have bled an entire generation of money all want bailouts?

No fucking way

12
AlphaNathan 12 points ago +12 / -0

Someone give me a quick rundown of why the left will say this is good.

12
dudeduderson 12 points ago +12 / -0

They'll say Republicans being against this means they hate education and that higher education is expensive and needs funding.

7
AlphaNathan 7 points ago +7 / -0

Use feefees, demand money. Checks out!

2
dudeduderson 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep... and the people who are writing the articles to gain popular support for this, will be the exact professors and liberal thought leaders who will receive the money and their departments will be funded for another 4 years until election time comes around again.

Then they will donate millions back to the DNC and the circle perpetuates itself. It's the socialist circle of life. We're already in it.

3
UpTrump 3 points ago +3 / -0

How the fuck did this even pass

2
The_Peter 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well, I actually do kind of hate higher education, it's a racket for schools to get money through naive students taking out loans. Don't get me wrong, the student's bear responsibility for taking out these loans, but when you consider that high schools and parents essentially tell 18 year olds that their future is guaranteed if they go to college and get any old degree without real consideration it falls into the same category as predatory lending. The people taking out the loan are responsible, but the people taking advantage of them need to be held accountable also.

1
dudeduderson 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well that doesn't mean you hate higher education... you're here... so that means you value intellect and the moral dilemma of seeking "the good" and eliminating the bad, whether it be ideas, culture, economic policy, philosophies, etc. This is what higher education was between 400B.C. and up until the 1960's.

I think you mean, and correct me if I'm wrong, you hate the corrupt, vampiric indoctrination centers our institutions of higher learning have become and think very little of the brain dead idiots who take out money they don't have to focus on the humanities and other useless departments.

Does that sound right?

2
TheNatureOfBobo 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because Republicans are evil racist sexist homophobic ignorant meanieheads who hate education and who want to keep everyone oppressed by denying them government-funded $100,000 grievance studies degrees.

KeepingAmericaGreat 23 points ago +23 / -0

They should lower their pricing to be more competitive in the fleecing of America's youth market.

5
ManyDirt 5 points ago +5 / -0

Why? If they raise their prices high enough they can fleece them as adults for longer. And if they raise them high enough we get "free" college and they can fleece everyone via taxes, even the people who don't go there.

3
Imransgarage 3 points ago +3 / -0

Then they mail you for donations until you’re dead.

1
The_Peter 1 point ago +1 / -0

LOL, it's true, I think they have an agreement withe the Sallie Mae or Navient to let them know when you've paid off you loans so they can start sending you glossy pamphlets saying how they (or God if it's a "Christian" school) need your money.

1
UpTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

The problem is it's so ingrained in society now that you "need" college, so these institutions have free range pretty much

Funny story about Harvard: Her name is Drew Faust. One of the country's biggest SJW and virtue signaler was president of Harvard for many years until recently, constantly invited Dem's to speak at graduation, tried to shut down their male social clubs, etc. She left Harvard to join the board of Goldman Sachs. The penultimate "patriarchy" company on Wall Street. The hypocrisy is rampant with these people.

What is going on here?

1
UpTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

They refuse to spend their endowment because their ranking will go down

6

Whoever approved this should be hung. Not exaggerating.

Dems say they fight for the little guy and the GOP only wants to bail out large corporations, but Democrats fought to add in billions of dollars to the relief bill for these super wealthy prestigious schools and fucking government art programs. Then they fire the musicians 3 days after getting 35 million in relief.

2
Gramps80 2 points ago +2 / -0

Harvard is a country club for politicians' children to get degrees without learning anything, I don't want a dime of my money going to them. If you're a poor person and manage to get in on scholarship, good luck... all of your classmates will be threatening to get money pulled from their Professors' home cities in the next budget when they get an F. And unfortunately that's not an exaggeration. Their student body also protested against Mankiw teaching there because he was teaching "radical ideas" like minimum wage causing unemployment. They signed up for his Econ classes just to schedule a walk-out and not attend. What a fucking joke.

With all the money being thrown around right now, it is payday for the rich. They are coming for the money that we'll be paying off for decades. I'm all for helping out people who need it but businesses must be allowed to go bust and investment vehicles must be allowed to devalue. The market must be allowed to work. The fed is printing up "infinite" amounts of money to keep the markets functioning - with no guarantee that it will work. We need a market correction. We can't just keep printing money and giving it to the rich. This shit is fucked.

Harvard students don't pay tuition. The endowment pays the tuition with the understanding that the alumni will over reimburse.

It’s about 50/50. And yeah you only get finaid if you qualify for it, which I think is parents making <75k a year. People pay cash but it’s usually from parents savings accounts, not student loans. I went to a similar school and got the finaid, I didn’t know a single person with a loan

1

Tax paying entities that hire people applied for this money. That they just happened to be owned by a church shouldn't matter. These people had jobs there. Just because a business is associated with a religious organization doesn't make it ineligible.
