Yeah, when trump calls on somebody like diamond, he should let them ask the question. Then say, “look fake news, i am only going to entertain substantive questions about policy that i am directly responsible for, questions about feelings, monday morning quarterbacking, and gotcha questions will be ignored and i will move on to the next, cough, reporter.” He should have a sign right on the podium explaining exactly what types of questions they can ask.
Or just come out, make a statement and leave with out taking questions.

Yes, this. I've never understood why it's taken for granted that every time the President steps in front of a podium, he's supposed to answer questions.
It allows him to counter the narrative directly. There is no way to win if he remains silent, but he can expose their fraud if he can go on and attack them in response.

I agree. This* questioning *crap has gotten out of hand. Couldn't the professionals poll the public to find questions we have, then, hand them to the President? Or have call screening like talk radio. All the reporters want to do is harass 45. It has gotten old.
