I don't believe it. She had a headache because she already had the meningitis. Viral meningitis isn't really diagnosed because it doesn't produce symptoms. If she was that bad off, she probably had bacterial meningitis and since they put her on the ventilaor (which is a huge huge cause of death in hospitals due to the bacteria) and they didn't give her antibiotics, so the bacteria took over. Viral meningitis is rarely fatal. There is no data or comparative cases to support this claim.
