Washington State... and many thanks, He'd love to hear that he still looks good. He is a Neurophysiologist (PhD), and taught at a major medical school in Southern California for 40 years. wrote many books, studied the optic nerve bundle for his entire research career... he and my mom retired to Washington...
I'm not sure, I read about it a little bit, but honestly, I was throwing everything I had at that fucking loser doc... letting him know that we would come at him from every conceivable direction, in the most public fo ways, and that he could avoid the entire thing by just writing the prescription. his choice.
Damn ! you're a great son. I feel my kids would do that too. At least I hope so ! Your Dad did a great job with you. Now rub that A hole doctor's nose in it.
He does look great! Tell him, if it makes him feel even a bit better. You should be very proud of him!!! I am just guessing, did he teach at UCI? That is a major med school but I suppose there are a few more in So Cal. I just happen to live by UCI, so I am well aware of it. how did your Dad get CV in the first place. We run across people that have had it so seldom that we never hear the details, or even a couple of facts. Not trying to pry. They dont seem to catch it just walking down the street too often. I was keeping an eye on the Twitter feed of a woman in NY recently and her dad and mom and she and her friend all had it. The dad finally passed away. They started supposedly giving her dad hCQ in the hospital before anything irreversible happened but he never got a whole lot better. his breathing improved but . . . her mom has been sick for weeks All are supposedly on hCQ. but how does she really know?. I almost wonder, and I posted elsewhere (and surprisingly a lot of people up-voted it) what if people esp.. in NY are told they are being given the hCQ and really given a placebo? Doctors who have private practices have prescribed it to patients outside of a hospital setting when they first are sick - w/ zinc & Z-Pak - and 6 days later they are well and test negative. What is happening in NY? They have to be in hospital to get the meds... and few are getting the meds at all really. Just the ones in trials? And they do not seem to be miraculously recovering at the rate the private docs' patients. Why not? It is all very weird if you look at all of te facts and details and I do not like what I see and I do not like the way it makes me feel abt what is really potentially going on..
I agree that your Dad looks great - and I am concluding that all Dads of that generation have the same frames for their glasses. Some kind of version of aviators.
Can you tell us what state? Also, I am so happy for you and your fam and your Dad!!! He looks fantastic for 84, and sick too!!!!

I'm Oh So proud of my dad.
Can't anyone assert "Right to Try" which was signed into law? Can they stop you from demanding it? Serious Question.
