The Karen meme and the general reddit tumblr Facebook commentary environment betray the true intentions of the social justice crowd. They use morality as a cudgel to beat down their opponents rather then to genuinely reduce hatred. They are Pharisees about morality, wearing it like a suit rather than respecting the spirit of their own movement, that is, to reduce unwarranted hatred. On almost every public comment section these days the most popular game is to invent new categories of person and run a hate wagon on them. Karen, starter packs, malicious compliance, pro revenge and it goes on and on. Just because the law hasn’t caught up to your hatred and created protected classes for it yet doesn’t mean that your aren’t being bigots too. The current commentary environment proves that the social justice crowd is full of shit.
