one of the bigger tax scams out there is claiming adult dependents who are otherwise off the books
for american adult dependents to get a credit it would have meant about 2million Mexicans also getting that credit
I'm not exaggerating or lying, many millions of non citizens are listed as dependents every year, with a large portion of them living overseas and receiving remittances from their relatives that live and work here
for every legitimate adult dependents there would be a dozen who shouldn't have counted ...I'm not sure that's the reason they decided but it's a good bet it was part of it
Most tax dependents are kids. Parents are getting 500 bucks for their kids. So they are getting some
How can you say that 'elderly of SS benefits whos income hasn't been effected' with a straight face? Rents, cost of and availability of food, loss of care due to social distancing (barbers, home care outside of senior living homes). You appear to dislike us Boomers - had to put us behind illegals - FOAD!
Reading comprehension isn't your strong suite is it. My post talks about those on social security who's income hasn't been effected (retired). Yet they still get the stimulus despite it's purpose being for those who've taken on a financial hardship because of the pandemic.
Your last sentence is pathetic.
