I was there in the 80's and were headed to Banff and all the cool places like Lake Louise. If there was a mall there, we missed it. Calgary has a lot, a lot of golf courses.
Albertan here. Do you guys know what winters are like here?:) If we became Americans we would all move south.
Actually my family and about 40% of the province are in favor of becoming the 51st. state and we could probably get that many from Saskatchewan as well.
Alberta and Saskatchewan are very much like our midwest, we are much closer to them than we are the coastal cities and they are much closer to us than their coastal cities
Apparently there's a whole website dedicated to it. Reading that, Canada treats Alberta like shit! Think of the things that would improve if we got them. More oil, more jobs, more nature, better demographics, and many new conservatives!
Washington is fine... its just the cities that are degenerate. Plus BC is being overrun with Chinese currently. I think there's quite a few counties that are 70%+ Chinese.

I would. I've been there. Calgary is home of the Stampede! Lovely people. The most conservative part of Canada.
