My one and only SV friend from college days unfriended me this year after 20 years of knowing each other because he hates Trump so much. I read about the country turning conservative, but all the liberals I know are doubling down.
I have lost zero friends for being a Trump supporter. They've all sniffed it out of me by now. I redpilled my lifelong dem mom. My gf is showing some pliability. Others have become less hysterical about Trump. I don't think it's anything I say, I think it's just the presence of someone they trust in their lives liking Trump prevents them from that knee jerk reaction of burying their deep seated agreement with anything he says or does. Their minds are starting to entertain ideas they used to nip in the bud.
Although I will say the argument I make that makes them think the hardest, judged by their long paused silences when I say it, is "if leftist policies worked so well, then why is it that an absolutely leftist monopolized city like San Francisco, which has more money than almost any city in history, is such a shit-stained segregated middle class-gutted dystopia? Either the policies are worthless or the politicians are worthless. You can say both but not neither"
I prob say it in different words, but that gets then thinking different thoughts, which is all I want, to get them out of the mental trap.
My friends have done it to themselves. My friend's husband was out with their boys in Portland protesting after Trump was elected and he just did not talk to me about it because he knows I voted Trump and we get along well. About a year in my friend told me her husband said none of the things he thought would happen actually happened, or in other words Trump is not actually Hitler. I have no idea where he stands right now. The older boy is showing signs of being a stealth conservative and it cracks me up. We get along great.
We are still locked down in Texas, but people in my area are pretty much ignoring it. Traffic is only somewhat down. The state was very generous about essential business designations, so a lot of people are working on really non-essential jobs, like subdivision construction.
They must be thrilled with the new DA - the guy is the embodiment of the Manchurian Candidate. Plus they’re probably tired/disgusted/revulsed by the “manmade moguls” they need to navigate walking down to the corner of the street.

I also learned about how the left is destroying our culture.
I also have an interest in geopolitics, so I began trying to understand how we were being attacked.I do not know who to blame for all of this, but I recently read Unrestricted Warfare, by two PLA colonels. Many of the strategies outlined in the manual are currently in effect against the United States, but not all have direct ties to China. It appears we are also at war with NGOs and people such as Soros. Even the chinese manual labeled Soros as a financial terrorist and lunatic:
