Why would a mom&pop shop be stocking American goods? I've never seen any data showing that they do anything different than Walmart does, just charging more.
Don't you straw man me. Of course I also want to buy American. It is seriously hard to find manufacturers that reliably make goods in America. Much less a retailer that guarantees that for me.
Walmart doesn't push out American manufacturing. That isn't their business. That is a separate topic. If anything, they bring a broader array of goods to give normal people more choice.
Maybe they don't have a "made in America" department. Since I've never seen one of those in any other store I think you are just angry at something else.

If a type of good is not manufactured anywhere in America, then how are these places stocking?
