David icke thinks Saturn is broadcasting a false reality hologram for the benefit of reptilian overlords who exist at the edge of our visible light range.

So...take his words with that in mind.

You can add that to all your other weak comments.😉

Saturn made some very interesting choices there. If that doesnt get the academy's attention I dont know what will.

It's out, you're the one who brought it up.

Yes I brought up the fact that david icke, the guy you just posted about believes that Saturn is broadcasting a hologram false reality.

So do you believe him?

29 April 1991 David Icke claims to be the son of God on Terry Wogan's television chat show

The late Sir Terry Wogan was always the politest of interviewers. But when David Icke sat on the Wogan couch and claimed he was the “son of God”, Wogan made perhaps the sharpest comment of his broadcasting career.

“They’re laughing at you,” said the Irishman, gesturing towards the audience. “They’re not laughing with you.”

...

When Wogan asked why a former professional footballer and presenter of BBC’s Grandstandsports show been selected by God as the “chosen one”, Icke said: “People would have said the same about Jesus. ‘Who the heck are you? You’re a carpenter’s son.’ ”

They assassinate you or they assassinate your character. —David Icke

How does this apply to quoting Icke's own words?

Fuck off if all you know about David Icke is the Terry Wogan interview.

Such hostility. Anger is not an argument.

I oppose Icke because I am a Christian.

The Christian Bible is a symbolic book, not a literal one. The one Christians know as Jesus was actually a symbol for the sun. Ancient sun worshippers believed the sun died at the end of the winter solstice and then three days later it would be reborn at the start of its cycle - December 25.

I am a Christian myself and I don't oppose anyone's speech.

As I explained to the other poster, I am opposed to Icke because I am a Christian. There are not, "truths in the Bible." The Bible is the inspired word of God.

...there are still truths in the Bible and many other ancient texts despite what religions have done to destroy and debase them. Religious dogma and myth have been used very successfully either to suppress understanding or to twist the truth sufficiently to turn something positive into something negative.

No, they're not the same. Icke is undercutting/diluting the authority of the Bible. This is nothing new. For a couple of centuries leftists have said that the Bible itself is not true but it does contain some truths. That leaves them free to pick and choose which parts they like and which parts they don't like.

Leftists also love to equate the Bible with other 'ancient texts,' because it's a very effective way to strip the Bible of its uniqueness. When truths are scattered around in a multiplicity of ancient texts, then Christianity becomes just one religion among many.

The verse you quoted doesn't mean that Jesus and the Word of God were no different from other historical figures/religious texts. It was just a Jesus' way of explaining that the earth is not His ultimate kingdom. As it's been eloquently stated,

"For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God."

Christians are looking for that same city, and it's not on earth.

See this is the problem with Icke. His theology is a mess.

God is unchanging and unchangeable. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Jesus is God. Fully God. Not a different God from the Old Testament but that God incarnate. Certainly God is Triune. But that doesn't mean He changes. He never does and cannot. His nature is immutable.

Satan is still the ruler of this world in the New Testament, btw.
