IMO - Harvard should be plowed to the ground and made into a skate park. The entire Ivy League is an Elitists breeding ground reserved for members of the "Club " and a smattering of token minorities and a few others. Tolerated - but not really members of the "Club"
Okay but my most left leaning liberal friend was home schooled. Athiest parents, father worked for a university, mother's an open communist, sisters are both vegans. They home schooled fearing right wing indoctrination. He's ultimately a rather left leaning libertarian, but even then his home schooling taught him enough critical thinking to change his mind when we met in college and talked about stuff. He can reach his own opinions, and his family loves and isn't disowning him over the different conclusions he's reached.
Maybe parents who love their children enough to home school them will want them to be able to think independently and continue to love them when they do so? I know, sounds crazy but it might be the healthiest learning environment a child could ever hope for.

How about we have a "presumptive ban" on idiocy being taught? That would mean home schooling only, right?
