Not to be a complete dick here, but there are people who have no choice but to stay at home if they want to live. There are people with diabetes and other underlying diseases that will die if they catch this cold. Old people are especially vulnerable.
They won't have any freedom for a long time if we don't stand together.
I trust Trump will help us and keep authorities away from abuse after he wins in November, so I think it would be better for all of us to stay inside so that our old veterans, those who were willing to potentially give their lives in order to save ours, can live the rest of their lives in relative peace without having to fear this painful disease every time they go out.

Much of the Country has 0-10 cases per County, and would've been fine opening April 1, with the first "15 days to slow the spread" as a COMPLETELY unnecessary precaution.
While it may be true that even June 1 may be unmanageable for a few large cities, most of the Country and most of every State is in a vastly different position and has no reason to remain on lockdown until June 1, and probably not until May 1 either.

My county calls it a "mandate" to wear face coverings. It's a sugar coated way of saying "unlawful, unconstiutional edict."
They also expect you to wear a face covering at all times in a state park. The reporter went on to suggest that Trump should have been wearing masks in the briefings back in late feb (when Nancy was going to parades in Chinatown) so people knew he was taking it seriously.
I don’t think we should have shut everything down either, but in the long term (2021-2025) I think it was the right move, unfortunately.

Also, you correctly identified the highest risk group: diabetes. It's not at all true that anyone with diabetes "will die if they catch this cold." Their IFR is higher than anybody else's, but still below 10% IIRC. And even if I'm remembering it incorrectly, it's still nowhere near 100%.
