If Trump didn't have Fauci and Birx front and center in these press beatings, they would instead be on the Fake News telling people Trump is screwing up. Instead it's their faces being presented while they are continuously proven wrong, allowing the world to wake up on their own. You can't change someone's mind directly, they have to figure it out themselves. Further, Gen. Flynn posits this question: If Trump is in league with the deep state, why would he promote Gun Purchasing? In New Jersey for example with one of the most severe restrictions against gun rights, they recently enabled parking lot drive-thru sales of guns! It's easy to see the moves as a cause for concern and I grant that I could be wrong but I have faith.
The minute fauci walked into Trump's office with the bullshit "2 million Americans could die" line, Trump's hands were tied. If he had ignored him, the media would have pinned ANY China virus death on him. He would be looked at even by normies as a mass murderer. He took the only path open to him, which was to follow fauci's "advice".
Also, there's a reason the virus didn't escalate outside of China until AFTER impeachment failed. Because if Trump was removed from office, this entire virus would have been downplayed. Of it was even acknowledged in our press, it would have been passed off as just "marginally more deadly than the flu". And life would have gone on.
This isn't even about the democrats taking out Trump (politically), it's about China taking out Trump. Over the past 3+ years he's forced them into a completely untenable position. The tariffs and drum beat against them were forcing many companies to begin relocating their supply chains. The entire communist house of cards was set to collapse. You're right that we have been systematically sold out to China in very dangerous ways. I do however think this virus would have spread regardless and a Democrat president would have become a dictator overnight.
