I got pulled out of public school 4th grade for being constantly bullied and the effect it was having on my mental health at the time. And so I was homeschooled from then on.

I was one of the only white kids in a majority-black classroom. The teacher and the principal were both black as well and ignored the bullying issue when my mother took it up with them repeatedly.
