In Muslimland, "fasting" actually means gorging. During Ramadan food consumption more than doubles. Hospital admissions increase due to disturbed eating and sleeping habits messing up peoples' medication use, and there's a surge in uncontrolled diabetes.

  • Traffic accidents increase.
  • Crime rates go up.
  • Workplace productivity goes down.
  • Children are bribed with money and gifts to "fast."
