I do love it, but as whole I hate identity politics no matter what side it's on. Trump is the one who appointed Lora Shiao so I'm more than confident she has the merit but it's just scary seeing such important parts of the government discuss it. Focus on diversity should never be the focus of why people are employed, so I hope to god the fact he brought it up was strictly to throw it back at ol' pencil neck and not because it's considered an important aspect of the inner workings of it all.

I will say, it's been funny to see Trump have so many appointees be women and the media be completely silent because it goes against the "sexist rapist" narrative. I'm not the one who cares about the person's genitals as long as they're the most qualified, but the media sure does care except when it's done by Trump
