Despite the nonstop open borders media propaganda, the vast majority of the public does not want open borders. Even a majority of Hispanics do not want open borders, racist pandering politicians just assume they do.
Vox Day is... a strange bird. He's interesting. Found out a lot about gamer gate and some other stuff from a couple of his books on SJWs. On the down side, he dives into some anti-Semitic dreck and I can't go for that. On the other hand, he gave a platform to an author I do admire.
I'm Jewish, and I don't know any "Jew who thinks we are superior and should control everything." Never met a single one.
Jews who are loyal to Israel? Well, I'm glad there's a country I can run to if my country decides to stuff me in a cattle car. I'm not saying that's going to happen in America. (But with lunatics like Ilhan Omar rising in Congress, who the hell knows?). But if my country turned against me like Nazi Germany did, I would certainly support Israel over, say, a Nazified United States. I hope you can agree on that.
Hiring and promoting Jews to the exclusion of everyone else -- every so often there's a business that does this sort of thing. I worked in an industry for a while which was mostly Asian, and there were a lot of political circles and games amongst the Chinese employees (and I presume the others as well). I wasn't going to go anywhere in the upward direction.
As for Jews "trying to control everything" again, we have that parental pressure that wants "Son the Doctor" and "Son the Lawyer" and decent jobs. So it is.
One anti-Semitic bit I saw Vox Day entertaining was using one of the anti-Talmud tracts that float around the web. These are slime pieces that misrepresent parts of the Talmud (A long and difficult body of work) to make Jews look like monsters that eat gentiles for dinner. It's harder to combat these, because very few people are really well-educated in the nuances of Talmud, and those that are usually have better things to do than argue with the purveyors of this crap on the internet. (Though I did find a few rebuttal sites online. My favorite one is no longer even around, and has to be accessed with the Wayback Machine.).
I get growing irritated with the Reform kind of Jews who put Democratic / Left wing positions above the Torah itself. (Even though that's how I was raised). But there's plenty of leftists in all demographics. I like seeing the #Jexodus movement. And Orthodox Jews are generally as conservative as Evangelical Christians. And have a lot more in common than with the secular versions of both faiths.
What's the Christians' take on Mohammad, particular after they've spent a few years living under Dhimmi law?
If you want an authoritative take on the Talmud and Jesus, if he even exists in there or not, I'll look for the website that I referred to before and you can access it via the wayback machine.
Watering everything down to the one question, where you expect Jews to have a positive opinion of Jesus during the time when they were oppressed by Christians ... well, it's odd to say the least. Unless this is similar to the Islamic creed of: "You disrespect our religious figure, you will die!"
Who cares what my opinion is? I'm no chief Rabbi or anything. But for the record:
Son of G-d? No. G-d does not have biological children in that matter, the way Zeus begot Herakles.
Unless you mean we're all children of G-d, in which case he was, and we all are.
A criminal? I read the gospels and I can't remember any specific crimes, though he might have raised a ruckus in the Temple and made important people angry, a dangerous sport in any time.
A sorcerer? Nah.
I'm thinking of making a citation of Torah that makes an interesting topic on this question, but I'm not sure I should mention it, as it will open another ball of wax.
Here's a question: Did Jesus want people to worship G-d? Or did he want people to worship himself?
Actually, that's a bad question. The Christian would argue that Jesus is G-d, and therefore there is no difference. But the Jews consider Jesus to be a man, and therefore there is a difference. So the impasse remains.
Watering everything down to the one question, where you expect Jews to have a positive opinion of Jesus during the time when they were oppressed by Christians ... well, it's odd to say the least.
FYI your understanding of history is way off dude...
The "track record" usually comes with a list of Jewish Nobel prize winners. Let me guess; that was in the same article.
There is a pressure to marry within the faith, yes. Children of mixed marriages rarely end up Jewish, certainly not two generations down the line. A lot of Jews are disappearing in America due to intermarriage... except for the Orthodox. They're increasing.
Believe it or not, the exceptional Jew is Biblical. Seriously. G-d gave the blessing to Abraham and said "Those who bless you will be blessed, those who curse you will be cursed. (Genesis 12:3). A lot of abundance follows, but so does a lot of jealousy. One of the ultimates was in Egypt. Joseph saved the whole freaking country, but a Pharaoh who did not know him responded to Jealousy and enslaved all the Israelites. This is the pattern of history that we keep running into. And in a sense, it's the goose that lays the golden eggs. Do you protect the goose -- or kill it?
Maybe the other geese have good reason to kill their golden egg brother who gets the special feed from the farmer.
Anyway, these "gifts" are a mixed blessings. Jews who followed G-d's law can enjoy them and do well in the world. Jews who stray from the law will be punished. Whether by G-d or by man, it's ultimately the same thing.
"Chosen" does not mean better than the other people. It might mean an example, but there's no inherent superiority. It's actually EASIER to be judged righteous by G-d if you're NOT Jewish. You have fewer commandments to follow. If Paul Golin has the idea that it means Jews are inherently superior, then he's not doing anyone any favors. He's the kind of Jew that worshipped the golden calf.
Let's say you want to be a certain exemplar of your class. I say to you: "Okay. I will give you certain tasks and responsibilities. If you pass, I'll give you a special emblem on your diploma. But you have to be perfect. If I so much as see you in the hallway during class without a pass, you're going to be expelled after a public humiliation during a school-wide assembly. Or.. you can decline, and you'll get minimal punishment for being in the halls without a pass." Students will look to you as an example.. either an example of great achievement, or a warning of what to avoid in the future."
I’m not arguing, because I don’t know exactly what you’re referring to, but I will say for context that Vox Day is undeniably pro-Israel. Compared to congresswoman Talib and company, he’s practically a Zionist, and that’s a good thing. As a Christian, his meta-narrative is good versus evil, not anti-jew, and he undoubtedly subscribes to the positive sentiment expressed toward the Jews in Romans 9 and 10. He's not Jesus Christ, but he’s a decent fellow that I'd be honored to have as a friend.
It's a tricky context. For instance... if he gets irritated with Reform Jews that are habitually left wing, even throwing away Torah ideas if they conflict with the Democratic Party, then yeah, I'm irritated with that part too.
In my arguments on Disqus I would occasionally clash with a Jewish Leftist. His arguments to me are usually: "Why do you oppose gay marriage? 80% of Jews support it! Why do you support Republicans? Only 15% of Jews support Republicans!"
In other words, he's always arguing with statistics on the liberal nature of most mainstream American Judaism. My response to him was usually: "All right, you support gay marriage and I do not. Show me something IN THE TORAH that supports gay marriage; l am not interested in polls of mainstream Jews."
He always disappeared after that. Because he knows the values that these percentages (whatever they are) have nothing to do with Torah, and everything to do with conforming to the golden calf idol of the day: Progressivism.
On the other hand, people who cite the Talmudic argument are not talking about Reform Jews, because a lot of Reform Jews barely know the Torah let alone the Talmud. (Dang, I really am being mean here, I should back down.). That's a very religious Jew who knows the Talmud back and forth, not the mainstream secular type. So that's what tipped me off.
It was a few years since I saw his website. I also noticed that in the SJW books he wrote (that I did appreciate) he cited a certain code which I think mentioned Jews on his website but did not in his book. Maybe he edited it out or changed his mind. I dunno.
Your golden calf analogy is ingenious. Progressivism seems to have become a replacement religion for many people, including many Christians and Jews. A friend of mine watched his family be spiritually and relationally decimated by the teachings of a progressive Methodist pastor. Thanks for the context, too, and take care, 'pede.
At some point you have to ask WHY do Mexicans leave their country? We certainly can't fit another 130 million of them in here, so why do we (or liberals) try to save only a tiny minority of them?
I think a good deal of it is their anti-capitalist government. Allow the free market to fix these socialist countries and they will be prosperous.
I'm not assuming any motives, I'm just telling you why people downvoted you (and you apparently deleted the post).
You tl;dr'd an extremely short blog post that was discussing macro scale (per capita) and used micro-scale terminology (each black/each white) to do it. Bad rhetoric.
I'd go even further, and and say:
"The Constitution doesn't need to be replaced, it needs to be
reread."One could say we revere Paul.
This. Bigly.
big league chew
Chew soap!
Considering it leaves itself open to being revised, it shows an unparalleled level of hubris to just ignore the constitution like most on the left do.
“This part makes me feel bad! It must be wrong.”
It’s a toxic mentality.
Despite the nonstop open borders media propaganda, the vast majority of the public does not want open borders. Even a majority of Hispanics do not want open borders, racist pandering politicians just assume they do.
Well, not for their countries borders at least. Not sure the voting data in america agrees with you thought...
For the majority it's a simple equation: Gibs > Borders when it comes to voting.
Start with the Somalis.
You read my mind.
Snowgadishu?
Yes. Somalis first, then all other muslims. Then the rest of illegals.
This!
Somalis and Chinese.
Whoa, Vox Day is going mainstream.
Gotta give a plug: Subscribe to unauthorized.tv y'all.
Welcome to the dark stream.
Damn skippy.
🐻? Unauthorized is badass!!
Another bear?
Hell ya! Love me some of big bears gravy!
This is a Gravy adjacent community lol
Yes.

Wait, isn’t Vox one of those very liberal sites?
This is from the dissident author "Vox Day"
Vox means "voice" in latin and is commonly used in the phrase "vox populi," or "voice of the people."
Of course, the liberal rag Vox is hardly a vox populi.
His name is Theodore, so Vox Day literally translates to Voice of Theodore.
Vox is a leftist propaganda site.

Things were not so good for the Jews in Christian Europe. Nor under Muslim rule.
Ye are of your father the devil and it is his will ye will do.
Yeah, go cry back to Hitler's corpse, dumbass.
Never heard of Paul Golin.

Increased responsibility.

Yeah, the genius of the Bible is that there's nothing really new to it. As Solomon said, there's nothing new under the sun.
Thank you for taking the time to write out your thoughts and respond to everyone, brother.
Thank you.
I don't think I've ever heard him defaming Assyrians.

Never Forget.
Vox Day has a lot of great ideas.
He's also nucking futs.
Vox day is a dork
Can I get an AMEN?!
Isn't this guy a white nationalist?
pox gay the dark lord
Vox Day = Pox Gay. C'mon it sounds funny.
He's autistically called himself "The Dark Lord" many times as well.
I forgot he had a legion of sycophants.
"Each"?
Explain Dr. Ben Carson, Oprah, Robert Johnson, Daymond John, musical performers, pretty much anybody in the NBA/NFL.
I'll give you Ben Carson without argument. As for the rest...
This is obviously an averaged figure. Rappers and ball-chuckers can't manage to offset all the leeches.
Yes, and your tl;dr is misleading. Each != average.
It's a superficial difference. When you take the net sum and spread it across the entire population of each group, those are the numbers you get.
One would need to be as stupid as a liberal to think that every White person adds exactly $2,795 to the economy.
Based and redpill. BTW, your comment is removed.
Thanks for the heads up. It doesn't appear deleted from my account.

No, I did not, that was a mod. Wrongthink is still illegal on The Donald, but it's still a million times better than Reddit.
Well that's silly. T_D is good but the civnattery is still strong here.
