I've always tried to back the job cops do, but any of you that wear the blue have got to start ostracizing these braindead droogs that can think this shit is alright.
Yep, I was a big fan and supporter of the blue curtain. This is making it difficult. They are starting to remind me of the UK police. And then be some big’ol pussy bitches over there.
Holy hell in MERIDIAN too. Suburb of Boise. To be honest it's probably one of the more liberal and affluent areas in the state but still this is insane as Idaho is typically conservative. I blame this on the retarded cuckifornia migrants that flooded the area
I expected this in a blue state. But frickin Idaho?
Before I go full blown pissed off. I am waiting for confirmation that the arrest was for letting kids play or for something else.
If the arrest was for stupid crap. Civil disobedience needs to get ramped up. The Bill of Rights trumps everything.
EDIT* Remember I said "Civil" we dont riot. But i do feel like taking a beach blanket to a beach and lay on it. Wondering if I will be arrested for being on the damn beach or not using sunscreen.
I really think this congress and other Reps need to be pruned from the tree. I want to know how these degenerates are going to be re-elected. Who could support these people? Seriously, who?
I want to know why the other mothers who were with their children (and obviously filming) were not arrested. Did this woman have a warrant for something else? I wonder if she didn't identify herself (thanks to the Patriot Act and Bush- that's a misdemeanor & arrestable offense).
I thought this was America. This, but unironically.
Yeah I live here and this woman chose a bad hill to die on unfortunately. She wasn't arrested for disobeying a lockdown order or a stay at home order, in fact the police even told her she was free to play with her kids in the grass they just couldn't play on the playground equipment. That playground equipment was taped off and she removed the tape by the way.
So now when she tries to bring a civil rights suit she won't be able to argue that she was arrested for disobeying a stay at home order, because she wasn't. Essentially now she is going to have to convince a court that its unconstitutional for a city to close a park and that its unconstitutional for police to arrest her for refusing to leave city property at the order of an officer and does anyone here really think that argument is going to work?
This woman has a history of these attention grabbing stunts, not too long ago she was in the news for protesting vaccinations. Don't get me wrong, I am in favor of standing up for your rights but she was not smart about this. The only hope she has is to convince a court that its unconstitutional for a municipality to close a public park and does anyone here think thats gonna fly?
Nope, I stand by what I said. I wouldn't expect to need to clarify but I will: I agree the shutdown orders are overzealous and draconian, hell, I believe that even more than you do, so ha! But that has nothing to do with what I said, and you should know that since what I said is in word form and I am assuming you know how to read yes?
Yes, the shutdown is bullshit. Yes, we have massively overreacted to this virus. Yes, arresting people for violating a stay at home "order" is unconstitutional.
But like I said, she wasn't arrested for violating a stay at home order, she was arrested for trespassing, so now the city of Meridian is not going to have to defend in court why their arrest of a citizen who violated a stay at home "order," they are going to have to defend their right to arrest a citizen who was trespassing in a closed park, see what I'm saying? I support what she was trying to do, but she did it wrong, she chose a bad hill.
Any public official that suspends the bill of rights should immediately be fired and their pension revoked. I see a bright future for class action lawsuits by constitutional layers.
This is why I respect the badge, but not the people. Good on you for becoming a cop, but fuck right off the second you use that power to infringe on people's individual rights.

They won't do it. Watch the 7 5 documentary.

Same. This is blowing my mind for Idaho

These women should have zerg rushed the cops, what are they going to do, shoot them all in front of kids. That would start shit for sure
Sue!
Absolutely. No way you're arresting me, traumatizing my kids and staining my record. Not on my hippocampus
this is what we get when they hire 24 year old bullies and dont train the shit out of them then give them a gun and badge.
Those dudes were in their 40's at the least-
I guarangoddamnedtee that cops get more training today than at any time in history. Was it worse before?
Un-fucking-believable.
