Obviously not a doctor. But my understanding of HCQ was that it allowed Zinc to get to cells more readily. Was never a direct cure but simply allowed Zinc to fight the virus.

That's why many add a zinc supplement w/ the treatment. The z-pac, an antibiotic was simply to prevent secondary infection and not part of the treatment. Z-pac can be replaced w/ simple penicillin in patients w/ heart conditions.

I had a half-hour conversation w/ a cardiologist recently and he confirmed that virtually everyone is being treated w/ HCQ if they are infected. Also, there are many doctors taking it as a preventative.

That study that everyone is referencing does not use a zinc supplement I don't believe.

Further no one ever claimed it was a miracle cure. Just claimed that there was a correlation between the use of HCQ and rapid improvement. So as a course of treatment it is still a major positive.

So I guess Dr. Fauci would protest the use of benedryl to help w/ allergies? Of course its not a cure but it relieves symptoms.

And by the way Dr. Fauci or Mr. Ventilator for the first several weeks of this breakout were using Ventilators you and your colleagues treated these patients as if they had ARDS. That was wrong and contributed to the death of thousands.

I would compare Dr. Fauci to a sub .200 major league hitter who is clueless w/ the curve ball.
