I’m a med tech. I work behind the scenes. We are the actual ones getting slammed with all the unnecessary testing since we run every test a doctor orders. That being said, I left the hospital world several years ago because of shit like this. Watching all these nurses get all this love during all this makes me absolutely sick. Nurses are some of the worst human beings I’ve ever met. Shitty, entitled, coasted thru school while their boyfriend did all their work, human beings. They care about no one but themselves, they’re vindictive and disgusting. I had one tell me about how she didn’t like a guy who came in once so she stuck him with an extra large catheter just because she thought it was funny. I’ve watched them completely fuck up patient care and blame someone else. I’ve watched them finish writing out a text during a code blue (heart attack/stroke). Nurses are the absolute worst and they still somehow convinced healthcare they’re being worked too hard and they have CNAs do pretty much all their work for them. Their literal only job is to look pretty, smile, check your temp and BP and write everything down in a chart for the doctor. If anyone deserves love, it’s the CNAs who are actually taking the risks and taking care of you.

Lol I went a little overboard in my disdain for them. I’m sure if I thought long and hard, I could come up with a few good ones. My sister is a nurse lol but I don’t like her either (she disowned my dad a while back and now only contacts him for money whenever her deadbeat husband leaves her)

Anyways, thanks for being a CNA and all the actual hard work you do =) and I’m super happy for you that you have some great nurses to work under. You would not have liked mine (if you couldn’t tell 😂)

I believe this for a lot of them but certainly not all. Maybe all where you worked though. Thank YOU for all you do! And thank you CNAs!

Always exceptions for sure, but majority fall in this description for sure.

and don’t thank me anymore lol I do nothing now. I just run a drug testing lab for 3 times the pay and 1/3 the workload 😂

But I will accept it for the 2 years of blood banking I did for a level 2 trauma center. That was excruciatingly difficult work and was such a thankless job even my own manager shit all over us. (She came in one day saying it was review day and none of us should expect a 5 star review because none of us was perfect in her eyes. I’m starting to think she was formerly a nurse....) so thanks for that! =)
