Im very bad at putting my thoughts into words. How would you guys explain right wing values? I was just asked to describe how we would teach them in schools but i could just name christian values and theyre arguing religion doesnt belong in schools.

Some random things off the top of my head:

Individuals have rights, governments don’t.

We want to help those truly in need, but largely believe life is what you make of it; it’s your responsibility to make something or nothing of your life.

Just because “something should be done” does not mean that the Federal Government should do it. The real power of government is meant to be held at the local and to some extent state level, where people have an ability to impact politics and politicians.

Science says their are two genders, deal with it.

Science says the unborn are tiny humans who suffer pain just like the rest of us.

The role of government is to level the playing field, not to determine a winner.

Capitalism and the free markets create an “invisible hand” that solves problems for us. When properly working, it resembles evolution (the survival of the fittest). Over a long period of time, it will produce results superior to anything else ever attempted, in part because it is ruthless.

We live in the greatest country ever created. Anyone living in the US has a privilege only a few in history could have ever imagined. Let’s be proud of who we are and what we stand for.

You can’t unite a country by dividing people up into “special interest groups”.

Thanks! I was right to ask you guys, seeing different examples listed is far more effective than trying to think of various situations on the spot with someone rushing me.

theyre arguing religion doesnt belong in schools.

It might be easier to describe what is not a right value.

"religion doesn't belong in schools" is not a right wing value.

You have to have values in the first place, you see.

Human values you mean? We are not 'right wing', we are Human.

But, Christianity is the correct answer. Christian-like values, whether one comes to them thru Christ or some other crucible/mechanism, some other Spiritual gravity.

So simply give them most of the answer but without mentioning Christ if that is their fear, don't scare them with Christ. Honesty, Freedom, Love, Compassion, Truth, Honor, Courage, Friendship, Kindness.

Charity, Hope, Faith...those too you might tell them, and if you fear they cannot accept it point that fact out to them, ask what they fear.

Honesty as in...two genders, equality of people, islam is a death cult, government is corrupt.

Freedom as in...personal responsibility, no quotas or AA, no censorships or special classes of citizens, unfettered right to bear arms.

Love as in...don't be hatin', really that's it.

Compassion as in... pay it forward, help your neighbor, lend strength as you might.

Truth as in... no safe spaces, Evil exists, you are not special, government is still corrupt, hillary is a traitor, media lies, 2+2 does not equal privilege.

And like that. Calmly explain how the cow ate the cabbage, one bite at a time. Christianity, but you don't have to swing Christ at them, let it sneak up on them.

I mean, I like to swing Christ but you don't have to. And give them this when you're done.

Thanks for this. This comment really helped my mental block. I used to be an atheist Around 10 years ago. I had totally disregarded religion as a whole because the idea of an all powerful figure diddnt make sense to me. I still refuse to follow any specific religion but i do now understand the need to believe in something greater than us. It took me years to come to this understanding and to find my own spiritual beliefs. I think i need to be more subtle when trying to convince people to leave the dems, however as a young adult with Aspergers, subtly is not my strong suit.

Also i love that picture at the end. Definitely saving that.

People should be trusted to take care of themselves.

Right wing isn't about having religion in schools. It's about being able to set up your own school that can have religious values or not and others having the choice to choose if they wanna go to your school with a basis on religion or to one that doesn't.

I have no "right wing" values. My values are solidly "middle of the road"!

It goes a little something like this: https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/constitution

The left does everything it can to undermine it.
