USC's Release : https://news.usc.edu/168987/antibody-testing-results-covid-19-infections-los-angeles-county/

Drive thru testing in 6 LA-area locations from 4/10 - 4/11 collected data and indicated ~4.1% of tested people had the covid-19 antibodies. This data modeled at scale now indicates up to 400,000 LA county residents have been infected. 50 times more than previously expected, and reported. This data applied, now indicates the mortality rate of covid-19 to be 0.1% - 0.2%, depending. None of this is debatable, this is all data driven.

Follow the data

I won't be shocked if we learn covid is just as contagious and only slightly stronger (pushing the select few of us who are weakend) than the average flu.

That said, this seems like junk science

The number comes from people who specifically sought out testing, which would probably include anyone with even the most remote headache or cough. The people feeling well may not have waited in line for testing.

The "representative sample" didn't happen yet.

This is a fair assessment I think too. Its hard to know who, what, why people voluntarily tested, but I think its safe to assume like you said that people who felt they were sick went to find out. Or not, we don't know. But Keck Medicine took the data and modeled it how they would other infectious diseases regardless.

Rhetorical question: Whats up with this scientific community.

Fauci demands such extreme scientific rigor when it comes to showing that hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin + zinc is beneficial. It may not be a "cure" but it sure as hell seems to be more helpful than doing nothing when administered by a healthcare professional.

Meanwhile, (ostensibly) top-tier schools publish data like this, begging to be misquoted.

So 10% of the LA illegals population had it?. I drove down a 1 mile stretch of foothill blvd on a Sunday morning and I counted ~128 men looking for work.
