It is officially called SARS-CoV-2. SARS-CoV-1 also a corona virus never had a vaccine because after one season it died out. We have no idea how far the first one spread or its mutations or if that is the reason why the west coast of the US is not suffering huge numbers.
It is time to go out and get it. It is not more lethal than the FLU since we are 20,000 less deaths than the 2017-2018 FLU season that killed 80,000 Americans no matter how they want to play games. Did you stay home or even hear about the 80,000 deaths from the flu?
Sweden did no social distancing and they have the same death arc we have without destroying the economy.
Another Great Depression will kill so many more Americans than this virus ever could. Forget the fact that the only known way to get out of a Great Depression is a World War.

Denmark opened the elementary schools last week because that is the fastest way to have a chicken pox party and let the kids and parent get it and build that herd immunity

They are, but it's voluntary. They've also closed some things (school for older children) and changed a few others (greater distance between tables at restaurants).
The difference is they didn't shut everything down, but they're applying some mitigation techniques.
