Oh I totally agree. I just love that my dad has the balls to do this. He’s also a lawyer and well known in our town especially by police so that makes it funnier lol
I don't know about any of those details but we have SO much to take our Governors to Court over! The problem is waiting for them to be removed from Office by due process is a luxury we do not have. Too many preventable deaths will occur due to their tyranny. This means they are guilty of mass murder and we are justified to remove them from Office via citizen's arrest.
This is the essence of a "nanny state"... government officials think they should act like our parents. I don't know why anyone who isn't an infantile beta type would want to live in such a world.
This country should be opened up. Everyone should take personal responsibility for themselves - if you want to be overly safe, stay at home - that's your choice. But don't give me this crap about how you have the right to interfere with my "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" because it's for my own good.
You wanna stay at home instead of work, that's your choice. Don't deprive me of my choice to get back to being productive.
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
Its not just now happening. It started a long time ago. In the 60s states started making helmet laws for motorcycles; about the same time as seat-belt laws appeared . They are good but should be a choice not a law.

What would happen if an officer winds up infecting him by an unconstitutional stop? Would he have a case against the city?
Cops will not fuck with him. First question out of their mouth is "are you a lawyer?" I bet they turn white as a sheet if you say yes.
Lawyers should one of the first professions to get back into a boom cycle. Courts should be filled to the gills over this for years.

That's pretty awesome

Yup. Wr actually repealed that law here in Michigan pretty recently
You don't get it, taking away their rights is for their own good!
