Let's be honest here: the real reason Sweden stayed open was because if they tried to enforce lockdown on their "diverse" population, the weekly grenade attacks would become daily ones.

No, it was because the swedish economy is in such a bad spot that even a short, complete, lockdown would have been disastrous.

The media is trying to create fear this time though, there’s been 3 crashes like this in history, 1869, The Depression, and the Crash in 87, in 1869 and 1987 the market made a v shape recovery. The depression only lasted so long because we were undergoing a communist takeover of our government.

The 2008 crisis doesn’t count in this because it was a perfect storm of a ridiculous bubble, combined with most of America being on adjustable rate mortgages so the Fed could rape them.

Historically this should be a nothingburger because there has been no fundamental change or problem that occurred to spur this other than the government telling everyone to close.
