Holy shit, can they please stop doing this kind of thing? I'm disturbed by the level of narcissism on display from some in the medical community during all this. All jobs have risks. Before I got laid off, I was on the road all day, every day. Things were going great, right up until the moment a freezer-sized buck decided to durka durka itself into my little Kia's windshield. Yeah, it sucked and was scary, but its a risk you take being on the road for your job. I didn't jump onto Instagram and fish for brownie points, I called a tow truck. You don't get to be a nurse only when it is easy and things are calm. This is the job you chose. Have a little self-awareness.

Ouch! The buck probably outweighed your Kia.
