Trump literally said himself that he has ultimate authority during a crisis and Pence corroborated it based on the state declarations of emergency. It was sticky some time ago. Trump also said multiple times that he prefers states to decide themselves and will only intervene in egregious malpractices.
I'm usually 100% in the "trust Trump's plan" camp, and I'm all for exposing the left's bullshit, but this is one case where he needs to just fucking do it, because at this rate, some of our governors are going to drag this into next year because "Oh, look, we had 2 new possible cases over the past 3 months, not safe to leave your house yet! Sorry if you're starving lol."
If he leaves this up to the governors, this will never end, they want the economy destroyed because they can blame him for it and usher in communism, and meanwhile, they're using the lockdown as an excuse to push mail-in voting.
