Grandma is with dementia and in a nursing home. Total lockdown with no one except staff allowed in. Worried she won’t remember family when/if they’re going to allow visitors again.
So sorry. My mother suffered from dementia for many years. No words are sufficient. That is a valid concern about the change in routine. My heart goes out to you! (hug)
My mother in law, too. She was totally dependent on us for her last 2 years. We took her out of the nursing home and minded her at home. The number of trips and falls she took went down dramtically.
