Very true. My sister-in-law's family were very close and loving with their parents, but the mom developed dementia they could no longer care for her at home safely. Even in the nursing home though someone in the family was there every day, most times twice a day.
kind of a cookie cutter response. Some folks need skilled round the clock care and not every family can provide that.
