Have some grace for those of us that still show up to work with elder pedes.

(Our residents can come and go still, but we're restricting visitors and not allowing gathering.)

  • This is better than many places and I am happy for those who are allowed visitors. Thank you for your dedication. Do them proud.

Appreciate that. We don't know if we're right or wrong, but we're trying our hardest. I also appreciate you making this post. I've been wanting to get some of this off my chest lol.

It's frustrating knowing there are likely so many people who would like to help but who are not allowed- at precisely the time many people also are home from work.

It would be glorious to use volunteers in some capacity, I wouldn't have to work 7 straight days last week lol. But the risk (or perceived risk) of the virus coming into the building (on someone who doesn't need to be there) is what keeps us awake a night. It's already a huge leap of faith trusting our coworkers to sit still when they're off work.

exactly- and I get that. It's just tragic.
