It isn't even about the face masks - it's about the onerous $1000 fine should someone be found without one.
I haven't seen anyone acting a fool in public. No normal human beings are licking toilets or whatever the hell you are acting like is happening on a regular basis. This virus has not proven to be more deadly than the flu, and common-sense precautions are all that is necessary. This order is yet one more burden placed upon the public by power-hungry tyrants, and people are starting to get fed up.
In a nutshell: everyone is done with the lockdown and wants to act like we live in the USA again.
So you're cool with (probably unemployed) people being fined because they aren't as scared of this virus as you are?
I own face masks. It's no skin off my back. But that doesn't mean I want the police chasing down and fining people. I also think the lockdown itself is a terrible idea, and again - this is just another outgrowth of the hysteria.
