Well, as much as they have a backwards ass culture, the muslims in Sweden really stuck to their guns/bombs/trucksofpeace/knives/machetes (it writes itself people!) and motherfucked the Swedish government, and ....it worked? Huh.
The thing is, our lockdown didn't work. and it couldn't work. 95% of the deaths are old people or people with underlying conditions. Almost all of these people likely caught it from someone that brought it into their nursing home or home and not from them being outside the home themselves. Someone in every house still needs to interact with others outside their family bubble. For food, for essential items, for work in many cases.
Unless we were going to strictly quarantine those at risk, there was never much point to this lockdown. Haphazard isolation rules and asymptomatic transmission meant this virus was never going to be slowed.
We've shattered our economy and millions of lives over a flu and nothing we did made any difference.
Only thing left now is the politicians, scientists and doctors who advocated for this nonsense to falsify enough data to pretend like they did the right thing.
I say vote out the lot of them. Except for Trump. We DO NOT NEED career politicians! Term Limit every one of them from Congress down to the local dog-catcher.
