After l got out of the Military l was head hunted to go Contracting with a outfit that provided security to some of the worlds largest NGO's, or as us insiders called it the "Disaster Industry " (DI),which l did for a few years till l made bank .We spent years traveling around the world to the major hot Conflict &Disaster zones .l witnessed a Cholera epidemic first hand where we would be providing over watch observing crowds of 1000's & see waves of people dropping .
Some of the people l worked with were on the front line of the SARS pandemic & are world leaders in dealing with these cluster fucks , so naturally as we traveling around the worlds conflict & disaster zones we would talk & pick their brains for info/knowledge as well as working with them to see the situation first hand .
Many of us who have witnessed deadly pandemics first hand can not understand why Targeted Containment has at least not been tried when it is a proven system for containing infectious outbreaks & would have no where near the cost to implement or crashed the economy .
Targeted Containment (TC)should at least be trialed in some of the states opening up again as a means to evaluate it against the knee jerk total quarantine clusterfuck the DI just forced on us in case of what many health professionals are forecasting of a second wave .
All Targeted Containment (TC) means is those most vulnerable are placed in strict quarantine ,any one infected is placed in strict quarantine & any if any new infections all those they have been in direct contact with are immediately tested & placed in quarantine while test results are evaluated.Everyone else follows proper hygiene & goes about their lives as normal,this whole quarantine clusterfuck smacks of DI self empowerment & milking the system ie medical facilities getting paid 10X times more for classifying patients as China Flu bed counts against their under lying health conditions etc
With TC you would have the small percentage of the population most at risk quarantined for their own protection ,they would be easily supported in ordering groceries,day to day needs etc from home & even having them delivered to them by a State government initially subsidized delivery service that encourages the development of private enterprise.The rest of the population would then acknowledging the risk & take preventive measures get back to living their lives & more importantly getting our economy back to building our great nation.
PS l believe their is a great opportunity for enterprising individuals to set themselves up in business over this SNAFU offering things like disenfection services for both business & homes .When l was working with the NGO's they could make even third world country public buildings even in conflict zones like schools, remote health clinics,public halls,churches etc into sterilized surgical facilities by using robotic sterilization units these were like over sized Roombas that would use a sterlize huge areas with it fogging unit & medical quality UV light as it robotic-ally moved around the building,it would then use a suction function to remove the airborne sterilization & after it was done the rooms etc were sterilized to a standard where complex operations including heart & brain procedures could be performed in them .
Many remote areas in large countries including Australia use truck mounted stores for everything from normal grocery items,butcher shops,fresh Sea food truck mounted stores operate even in the desert region of Central Australia & clothes,hardware etc,etc also so even doctors surgery,dental clinics even to having specialized intensive care clinics, Chemo therapy & contained dialysis units able to travel into the remotest areas & treat people al these systems can be developed for use here in America for use anywhere.
