What the hell does he want Trump to say anyway? He can’t force the states to reopen, and this entire thing started from the media politically weaponizing the flu against him. Him laying a clearcut plan out for people would just show his hand to the media, whereafter they’d start reporting that it didn’t work before it even happened.
I had a pretty decent health plan I got through an alumni connection before Barrycare launched. I voted for Barry both times and when he said I could keep my old plan if I liked it, I believed him. My old plan was modified so much it was no longer the same plan and the price went up once Barrycare started. To get a worse plan more in par with my original, I had to pay 3.5x as much. It was Barry’s big hour and he fucking blew it and made things irreparably worse.
The downside of him trying to make healthcare ‘more affordable’ was that it was up to assholes to decide what other people could and could not afford. I don’t want to pay for the healthcare of people that do not themselves take care of their health. If we removed a good deal of protection on the medical industry, healthcare costs would come down dramatically in short order because people would Uber the shit out of it. I actually use a teledoc now from a non crazy state because having him on call 24/7 through text is ridiculously cheap compared to paying thousands a year out here in CA for the privilege of being ignored.
All Barry did was making the problems in the existing healthcare system worse and further entrenched. I’d have been happier if he had done nothing for 8 years compared to what he actually did.
His legacy has been solidified as the president that accelerated this country's drive towards a second civil war. Which is why the CCP media crowns him the best of all time.
